How We Score Predictions
Plain-language methodology, now fully customizable with three calculation ways (Peak System, End ROI, Symmetric Peak ROI) and optional negative ROI accounting for incorrect predictions.
PSR
Prediction Success Rate
The proportion of predictions that achieved their stated objective. Calculated as Total Points Earned / Total Predictions Made (where Bullseyes, partial wins, and misses earn 1.0, 0.5, and 0.0 points respectively).
Average ROI
The mean return across all BUY and SELL predictions. Dynamically recalculated based on your selected Peak, End, or Symmetric Net ROI and punishment preferences.
Median ROI
The middle return value after sorting all predictions. Protects against one wild home run skewing the average. Instantly synced with your selected ROI calculation method.
Index
Index Score
Our proprietary composite: Median ROI x PSR. Rewards organizations that are both accurate and profitable.
Calculation & Punishment Methods
Customize how return-on-investment (ROI) is measured and choose how incorrect predictions penalize performance.
Three ROI Calculation Methods
1. Peak System (Default)
Evaluates calls using maximum favorable price moves: highest peak price for BUY calls, lowest bottom price for SELL calls.
2. End ROI Calculation
Measures price changes exactly at the end of the prediction timeframe, ignoring any intermediate peaks.
3. Symmetric Peak ROI
Computes Net ROI by subtracting the maximum downside move from the maximum upside gain relative to the start price.
Incorrect Prediction Punishment
1. No Punishment (Default)
Capping negative returns at 0%. Misses and incorrect calls do not drag down average performance.
2. Negative ROI Accounting
Includes losses as negative ROI figures. Incorrect predictions directly lower average and median performance.
